Established over five years ago, Silverhill Caravan and Holiday Park is very well maintained, and started off as a three star caravan and holiday park. It is now a 4 star and is working its way to a 5 star. There will be 40 luxury holiday homes pitched on hard standing pitches where "Rosey Mae" is sited.
The site has now just changed ownership with the new owner looking to place further investment in the park in 2011 thro 2012. In the pipeline of changes will hopefully be the addition of a fishing lake and childrens play area. So watch this space.
The site is situated approx one mile from the picturesque village of Long Sutton, steeped with history, where you can go on the Dick Turpin Walk and also visit the church which is the only remainining church with a timper spire, still perfect and awe inspiring. The vilklage itself has all its amenities, off licence, shops, bars, banks, hairdressers, bus service, cafes etc. There is a wide selection of take-away's that also deliver to the site. The lovely local traditional country pub, with its friendly atmosphere, makes a great place to socialise, have a meal and relax. For the wine lovers among you thre is a local wine shop that sells a multitude of wines from all over the world, ranging from £5 to £500.
We also recommend you visit the Long Sutton Butterfly & Wildlife Park which is just a 10 minute walk from the site entrance. Its a fabulous day out
You will also find a very good taxi service in the local area.
